Personally I would put all the product sites as subfolders or subdomains of one site. That way you can create a home page that points to them all and people can pick from all your reviewed products.

Adsense Passive Income

When I started blogging to make money online, a few things become apparent to me. The most important is the significant difference between "active income" and "passive income". Let me explain.

"Active income" is the amount of money you make while you're actively blogging, writing, leaving comments, submitting articles and marketing your blog. "Passive income" on the other hand is residual in nature, and it's how much money you can earn if you suddenly stopped doing all of the things above. Understanding the benefits of both can help you decide which ones to focus on.

Active income is easy for anyone - while you're working hard you earn what you deserve. That's great, but what happens when you stop? It's a marketer's greatest fear, because 95% of people stop making any form of online income the moment they cut down on writing and blogging. If something were to happen to you and active blogging becomes impossible altogether, your online well literally dries up quicker than you can imagine.

One Cause purports to help people turn their online shopping into a charitable activity.  And if that were all it would be okay.  But it's not.It's interesting that One Cause is owned by Rakuten USA... who also owns LinkShare.  And the One Cause toolbar has been verified to overwrite affiliate cookies.What does this mean for your income stream?  It means that if you use LinkShare (and they're not the only one, just the biggest) and you attract traffic with your hard work, ingenuity, and hard earned money all potential customers that have the One Cause toolbar installed won't generate a dime for you.  Your affiliate cookie will be overwritten by One Cause.  You lose.

If you have a product that you want to sell, whether it's an e-book, audio or video, it's usually a very wise idea to create an affiliate program around it.

If you have an affiliate program for your product, you will get a ton of traffic that you would not normally have received.

The reason is because a lot of people will promote your product for you when you're paying them a commission to do it!

Would you rather have 100 people buy your product from you? Or would you rather have 100 affiliates when each has a hundred people buying your product from them?

It's a no-brainer when there can be a better way to boost your income by leveraging on the combined efforts of hundreds of affiliates to sell for you. This demand for a better way creates a market for affiliate management software which makes the whole process of setting up, recording and releasing commissions so much more...well, manageable.

Without such a software, you would never have been able to get the amount of traffic and sales multiple promoters could give you, compared to achieving it all by yourself. Affiliates must feel they are well equipped to sell the merchants' products because even if they have not reviewed the products themselves, only the merchants know their stuff best and how to present them to the audience in the best possible light.

But bear in mind the reality is that 80%-90% of your affiliates will be inactive under normal circumstances. The Pareto principle also applies that 20% of your affiliates are likely to be responsible for 80% of the total sales.

To keep affiliates motivated, merchants should work with them to create incentive programs and special events that will provide them with opportunities for increased recognition and revenue; for example, increase affiliate commission for a certain time period. They should also take the time to communicate with them whenever possible to help them with their promotions. One method is to publish regular affiliates-only newsletters that contain their statistics for the week/month, affiliate marketing tips, product and promotion updates, interviews with successful affiliates etc. Your affiliates will never forget they joined your program.

The 301 redirect is considered "permanent" and tells the search engines to go to the site from now on. Naturally you can change it. But if the affiliate program is paying well, you probably will keep it. So the 301 redirect should be your choice for a domain redirect.

That means that instead of the ugly affiliate URL or the product's actual site showing in the browser's address bar, your domain name will show there. The visitor doesn't know there's another site behind there. It takes less than a minute to redirect and mask a domain. It may take another 20 to 30 minutes for it to "resolve" across the Internet. So if you're planning to use one on a live program, plan to make the change at least an hour ahead of time.
